Your payment information will stay on your credit profile for up to five years. The info isn’t updated automatically, but you can ask the bureau to change it if you don’t agree with it. If your account(s) has/have been paid up for more than five years and still appear(s) on your profile, you can manually log a dispute: Log into your profile on www.mycreditcheck.co.za, select “Challenge my information” and select “Prescribed” when prompted to answer “What best describes the issue?”.
