Excuse My Loan is a way for Unifi to show our clients we appreciate them, and thank them for trusting our online loans with their cash emergencies. It brings clients the joy of seeing their entire loan written off and their outstanding loan balance go to R0. 

Let’s break it down: What is Excuse My Loan all about? 

1. What is Excuse My Loan?

Excuse My Loan is a special Unifi campaign where we randomly select clients with up-to-date accounts and completely clear their remaining balances. No forms, no catch, just a big “thank you” from us.

2. Why does Unifi excuse outstanding loan balances? 

We believe in rewarding responsible financial habits. Your consistent, on-time payments on your online loans help us continue doing what we do best: providing quick, reliable emergency cash when real life gets in the way. 

3. When does the campaign run?

This year, Excuse My Loan is running throughout June 2026 to help take the sting out of mid-year financial stress. We may run it at other times during the year, so keeping your payments up-to-date ensures you’re always in the running.

4. Who qualifies for Excuse My loan?

To qualify for the random draw:

• You must be an existing Unifi client.
• Your account must be fully up to date. That means no missed payments or arrears at the time of selection.

5. How will I know if Unifi excused my online loan?

We’ll be announcing winners every Friday in June 2026 on our Facebook page, and we’ll also be calling winners directly. So keep your phone close, you wouldn’t want to miss it! 

6. Do I need to enter?

No entry forms or applications are needed. If you’re a Unifi client and your payments are up to date, you’re automatically entered into the draw every Friday. Plus, we’re bringing back “Bonus Winners” this June, so there are even more chances to get your loan excused. Keep an eye on our Facebook page every Wednesday for a Unifi quiz for an extra opportunity to win.

7. What does it mean that “Bonus Winners are back” in Excuse My Loan?

It means extra chances to win! Each Wednesday in June, alongside our main Friday draws we’ll also be selecting additional Bonus Winners through fun Unifi Facebook quizzes. If you take part and get it right, you could be one of the lucky clients who gets their loan excused, just for engaging with us and staying involved.

8. What happens if my loan is excused?

Your outstanding balance immediately drops to R0. That means, you won’t need to make any further payments on that loan and can spend that money on the things that matter most to you.
