Role Purpose
To support Unifi’s growth in Dar es Salaam by building and managing employer and stakeholder relationships, executing targeted direct marketing campaigns, and enabling branch teams to achieve sales and marketing targets. The role also ensures strong brand presence, efficient lead generation, and seamless coordination between field and branch activities.
Responsibilities
Employer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and HR contacts across the region.
- Identify and pursue new employer opportunities; conduct site visits as needed.
- Promote Unifi’s products and services during stakeholder interactions.
- Schedule and plan visits using GeoRep tools (Sales Pipeline and Last Visit Report).
- Maintain an up-to-date stakeholder database.
Direct Marketing & Brand Awareness
- Plan and execute direct marketing activities, including major events and campaigns.
- Optimize existing employer partnerships for maximum marketing impact.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
- Map catchment areas using government employee data for focused outreach.
- Monitor cost per prospect and provide insights for improvement.
- Drive local brand visibility at the branch level.
Branch Support & Sales Enablement
- Support branches in implementing marketing plans and tracking progress.
- Follow up regularly with branch teams; provide feedback and support.
- Assist with closing sales by following up on leads, completing questionnaires, and supplying correct HR contacts.
- Resolve issues related to employer confirmations when needed.
- Ensure branches are stocked with relevant marketing materials.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a marketing or similar role
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Creative and commercially aware, with a customer-focused approach
- Team-oriented and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in direct marketing strategies and relationship management
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, goal-driven mindset
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in changing environments
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Culturally aware and able to engage with diverse stakeholders
