At Unifi, we believe that being a loyal client should come with rewards. That’s why we give back to clients every year with our Excuse My Loan campaign.

During our most recent and fifth edition of the campaign, held from 17 April to 29 May 2026, we excused more than UGX 41 million in outstanding loan balances for 74 lucky clients across Uganda. Winners were selected at random from eligible clients with a good repayment history, making this campaign our way of recognising and rewarding responsible borrowing.

The campaign took place from 17th April to 29th May 2026 with winners selected randomly and announced live across several partner radio stations including Capital FM, CBS, Next Radio, Radio West, Open Gate, Busoga One, Voice of Lango, Radio Pacis, Etop Radio and Mega FM. Shortlisted clients simply had to answer the question, “How can Unifi make your life easy today?” with “Excuse my loan” to get their loan written off and an invitation to collect their congratulatory letters from the nearest branch.

The campaign is set to return to Uganda in November 2026 and we look forward to making life easy for even more clients with another great experience.
